Accessibility

We want 1099 Assistant to be usable by everyone who needs it, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, or a phone one-handed.

What we aim for and what we have done

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. We have worked on:

What we have not done

We have not had an independent accessibility audit, so we cannot say the site fully meets WCAG 2.1 AA, and we make no such claim. We test with a keyboard and automated checks ourselves. Some parts, such as charts and the live mileage tracker in the phone app, are the likeliest to have gaps.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on the site or in the app is hard or impossible for you to use, email info@1099assistant.com and tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will fix it, or find another way for you to get the same result, such as doing it for you. You do not need to explain your reasons.
